GORE-TEX Paclite® Plus is a membrane that uses a 2-layer unlined construction. It is laminated to an abrasion-resistant face fabric for durable protection. This construction makes the jackets lightweight, waterproof, windproof and breathable.

Hooks enhance the durability, ease of use and aesthetics of garment cuffs. The unique hook design minimises wear and abrasion and the pre-shaped surface ensures that the cuffs are always closed.

The cuffs, hood and legs are the weakest points when trying to keep a garment dry. YAK SEAL™ technology significantly reduces the penetration of moisture into these areas. The use of different materials slows down water absorption and the capillary effect. Ripstop weave with CORDURA® fibres creates a durable surface. The small cross-section of the moisture barrier leaves very little room for moisture to build up. The technology also includes a hydrophobic layer that bonds the hygroscopic barrier to the fabric. In addition, there is also a coating that seals the edges of the structure.
