Product description

Ski helmet HEAD Fareo green (325476)

HEAD Fareo green ski helmet is an advanced product designed to ensure safety and comfort while skiing. Its In-Mold construction combines durability with lightweight, which increases comfort for prolonged wear. The use of 360° MICROSHELL technology further strengthens the outer layer, protecting against mechanical damage.

Advanced technologies

The Fareo model is equipped with the Sphere Fit system, which allows for precise fitting of the helmet to the user's head using a dial. The Surround Comfort Design technology promotes even pressure distribution, enhancing wearing comfort. Additionally, passive ventilation helps maintain optimal temperature inside the helmet, which is important during intense exertion.

Materials and construction

HEAD Fareo green ski helmet is made from a combination of polycarbonate (PC) and expanded polystyrene (EPS), providing a strong yet lightweight structure. Soft, detachable ear pads allow for adjustment of the helmet to different weather conditions, while the buckle ensures stability during skiing. The lining is removable and washable, which makes it easy to keep clean.

Standards and certifications

The HEAD Fareo ski helmet meets the CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B standards, confirming its compliance with European safety standards for protective equipment. As a result, the user can be confident that the product has undergone rigorous quality testing.

Technologies

360° MICROSHELL

Used in the lower edge of the helmet, a special polycarbonate layer effectively prevents mechanical damage such as scratches and dents.

Sphere Fit

The Sphere Fit system ensures a precise and comfortable fit without pressure. Thanks to the elastic band, the fit is automatic, but can also be adjusted using the snap system on the back of the helmet.

In-Mould

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.

Tech Lining

The lightweight inner lining combines thermal insulation properties with a breathable structure that helps wick away moisture generated during physical activity. The material helps maintain a comfortable microclimate around the head, reducing the feeling of overheating and dampness. The soft construction improves the comfort of the fit, whilst the fact that the lining can be removed and washed makes it easier to maintain hygiene.

Surround Comfort Design

The ergonomic design of the area around the ears combines a precise fit with a slim profile, minimising excessive pressure during prolonged use. The specially shaped components enhance comfort and help keep the helmet securely in place. The design also allows for the use of headphones, enhancing functionality whilst on the slopes.
