Product description

Children's ski helmet UVEX Race Up white (56/6/346/11/03)

UVEX Race Up white children's ski helmet is a product designed with the safety and comfort of the youngest users on the slopes in mind. Thanks to its In-Mold construction, the helmet features a durable and lightweight design, which translates to wearing comfort. The use of hard ear pads provides additional protection for the ears.

Advanced technologies

The UVEX Race Up children's ski helmet utilises In-Mold technology, which integrates an outer polycarbonate shell with an inner layer of expanded polystyrene. This construction enhances impact resistance. The monomatic system guarantees easy and quick one-handed adjustment of the closure, facilitating usage. Additionally, the IAS system allows for precise size adjustment via a dial, enabling the helmet to fit the child's head perfectly.

Comfort and ventilation

UVEX Race Up white children's ski helmet is equipped with a passive ventilation system, which aids air circulation and helps maintain thermal comfort during physical activity. The helmet's lining is hypoallergenic and removable, making it easier to maintain hygiene. Noteworthy are the Hear+ Ear Pads, which not only provide protection but also enable better hearing of the surroundings.

Materials and ecology

The UVEX Race Up children's ski helmet is made from materials such as polycarbonate and expanded polystyrene, ensuring lightness and durability. The interior is lined with COOLMAX® EcoMade material, which effectively wicks moisture away, supporting user comfort. This material is also environmentally friendly, making the product more sustainable.

Technologies

monomatic system

A quick fastening system used in bicycle helmets that allows free adjustment and fit to the wearer.

IAS

The IAS system allows adjustment of both the circumference of the helmet and the depth of the helmet on the head.

In-Mould

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.

Hear+ Ear Pads

Soft, replaceable hear+ ear pads provide high comfort even during long wear. Their structure supports ventilation and effectively reduces pressure points around the ears. This improves fit and increases comfort without compromising protective properties.

Coolmax® ecomade

COOLMAX® EcoMade is an advanced functional fabric designed for effective moisture wicking and quick drying, helping to keep your skin dry even during intense activity. The specially structured fibres support temperature regulation and improve comfort in changing conditions.
