Product description

Ski helmet UVEX Monte LT MIPS khaki matt (56/6/350/16/07)

UVEX Monte LT MIPS khaki matt ski helmet is an advanced solution for skiers, combining safety and user comfort. Equipped with technologies such as Mips® and In-Mold, it provides additional protection during falls. Thanks to active ventilation, users can enjoy freshness even during intense exertion.

Advanced protection technologies

The UVEX Monte LT MIPS ski helmet utilises Mips® technology, which enhances protection against rotational forces during impact. The In-Mold construction enables effective integration of polycarbonate (PC) with expanded polystyrene (EPS), resulting in a lightweight and durable helmet. The IAS system allows precise size adjustments, increasing comfort and stability while riding.

Comfortable use

UVEX Monte LT MIPS khaki matt ski helmet is equipped with soft ear pads that provide comfort during colder days. Active ventilation ensures optimal airflow, reducing overheating of the head. Additionally, the monomatic system allows for easy and quick fastening of the helmet with one hand, which is particularly useful on the slopes.

Materials and fit

The UVEX Monte LT MIPS ski helmet is made of durable polycarbonate and expanded polystyrene, ensuring durability and lightweight. The removable lining allows for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, while the dial adjustment system enables a perfect fit to the shape of the head. The EN 1077:2007 B certification confirms compliance with European safety standards.

Technologies

FAS

Fas Adapting System - The strap system responsible for the precise fit of the UVEX helmet. It ensures that the helmet adapts well to the different head shapes and holds firmly in any situation. It thus increases safety and comfort.

monomatic system

A quick fastening system used in bicycle helmets that allows free adjustment and fit to the wearer.

MIPS®

Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.

IAS

The IAS system allows adjustment of both the circumference of the helmet and the depth of the helmet on the head.

In-Mould

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
