Product description

Ski helmet UVEX Horizon CV MIPS black matte (56/6/344/10/05)

UVEX Horizon CV MIPS ski helmet black matte is a technologically advanced helmet that combines safety and user comfort. Thanks to Mips® technology, it offers additional protection against rotational impact forces. The integrated visor and OTG (Over The Glasses) system allow for comfortable glasses wear while skiing.

Advanced technologies

The UVEX Horizon CV MIPS ski helmet uses the Colorvision® system, which improves visibility contrast on the slopes, which can be crucial in changing weather conditions. Supravision® technology prevents the visor from fogging, ensuring an uninterrupted field of view. The monomatic system makes the helmet fastening easy to operate with one hand, increasing user convenience.

Construction and safety

The UVEX Horizon CV MIPS ski helmet is made using hybrid technology that combines ABS copolymer with polycarbonate and expanded polystyrene. This construction ensures high durability and effective energy absorption during impacts. Soft ear pads with Hear+ Ear Pads increase comfort, while active ventilation ensures adequate air circulation.

Comfort and fit

The UVEX Horizon CV MIPS ski helmet is equipped with an IAS adjustment system dial, allowing precise fitting to the shape of the head. The removable, washable padding allows for maintaining the helmet's cleanliness. The visor's tint category is 2, which is suitable for moderate sunlight.

Technologies

FAS

Fas Adapting System - The strap system responsible for the precise fit of the UVEX helmet. It ensures that the helmet adapts well to the different head shapes and holds firmly in any situation. It thus increases safety and comfort.

monomatic system

A quick fastening system used in bicycle helmets that allows free adjustment and fit to the wearer.

Colorvision

Three innovative colour filters provide exceptional contrast and excellent visibility in all conditions and terrain.

Supravision®

The Supravision® technology used in the goggles ensures optimum vision in all weather conditions. This is a special coating applied to the inner part of the lenses to prevent the glasses from fogging up, even in large temperature changes.

MIPS®

Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.

IAS

The IAS system allows adjustment of both the circumference of the helmet and the depth of the helmet on the head.

Hear+ Ear Pads

Soft, replaceable hear+ ear pads provide high comfort even during long wear. Their structure supports ventilation and effectively reduces pressure points around the ears. This improves fit and increases comfort without compromising protective properties.

OTG (Over The Glasses)

The OTG (Over The Glasses) system has been designed for people who wear prescription glasses. Thanks to the specially widened frame design and contoured interior, it allows for comfortable wearing of goggles without pressure on the lenses or frames. It ensures full visibility, comfort and a stable fit even during prolonged use.
