Product description

Ski helmet Alpina Vizzard QV MIPS midnight grey matt (A9266332)

Alpina Vizzard QV MIPS ski helmet midnight grey matt is an advanced model designed for skiers looking for modern technological solutions. It is equipped with MIPS® technology, which increases head protection in the event of angled impacts. Additionally, the use of QUATTROFLEX and Varioflex technology in the visor provides better visibility in changing light conditions.

Advanced protection technologies

The Alpina Vizzard QV MIPS model employs a hybrid shell construction, combining acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) copolymer and polycarbonate (PC), allowing for optimal protection and durability. Hi-EPS technology enhances impact energy absorption, translating to greater safety. The Mips® system adds an extra layer of protection by reducing rotational forces acting on the head.

Construction and user comfort

Alpina Vizzard QV MIPS ski helmet midnight grey matt features active ventilation, which allows for air flow regulation, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the helmet. Detachable ear pads and a removable liner make it easier to adjust the helmet to weather conditions and user preferences. The adjustment system with a dial allows for precise fitting of the helmet circumference to the head.

Innovative visual solutions

The Alpina Vizzard ski helmet is equipped with a visor featuring WideVision technology, which increases the field of view, which is essential during dynamic skiing on the slopes. The polarising and photochromatic filter in the visor minimises glare and automatically adjusts to changing light intensity, improving visibility comfort in various lighting conditions.

Technologies

Varioflex

Technology in the lenses that gives them photochromic properties - the lenses darken as the sunlight increases, adapting to the prevailing conditions in seconds. They also provide 100% protection against UVA, UVB and UVC rays.

3D Fit

Technology that allows the size to be precisely tailored to the anatomy of the body, further protecting it from injury.

WideVision

Leatt-brand lenses providing a wide 170° angle of view.

MIPS®

Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.

Fidlock®

Magnetic locking systems, characterised by simplicity of use and durability. Modular technology provides the user with a multitude of fastening options.

Hi-EPS

Hi-EPS is an innovative technology used in Alpina helmets, whose microscopic air chambers effectively absorb the forces generated during impact. Thanks to the use of Hi-EPS, the helmets offer optimum protection while remaining slim and thin-walled for increased comfort.

QUATTROFLEX

Quattroflex is the name for a special type of ruby-coloured lens that reduces blue visible light. This increases the contrast in the snow, allowing a better and faster perception of the surroundings. The Quattroflex lens also has a brightening effect, making the contours and textures of the ski run more visible even in poor weather conditions. In addition, there is a high-quality polarised film in the lens that enhances the Quattroflex effect: it eliminates scattered light and reflections, increasing contrast

Hybrid Shell Construction

Hybrid Shell Construction is based on the use of materials of varying density and weight, providing an optimum combination of lightness and high levels of safety in the event of a fall. This construction also guarantees exceptional wearing comfort, especially on downhill runs.
