Free Stroke is a special design applied to the Shimano brake lever. It allows individual adjustment of the distance from the initial lever position to the pad contact point, depending on the rider's preference and the build of their hand.

I-SPEC EV brake levers feature increased stiffness by moving the caliper inwards and increasing the contact point between the handlebars and the lever. This additional rigidity significantly improves braking precision and control of the bike, without taking up space between the caliper and the attachment points of other accessories on the handlebars.
