Technologies

DWR

The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.

AirSpeed™

Carrying system used in Osprey rucksacks. Designed for the best possible ventilation and comfort. The back panel of the backpack has a mesh fabric stretched over a frame. A space is created between the backpack and the back, allowing air to flow freely.

Stow-on-the-Go™

Loop at the shoulder strap of the rucksack for carrying trekking poles. Allows you to attach and use the poles without removing the rucksack.

FlapJacket™

A system used on some Osprey backpacks. After removing the main backpack cover, an additional FlapJacket™ cover can be used to protect the items placed in the backpack from adverse weather conditions.
