The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.

The Shield Air membrane has a finely tuned nano-fibre structure with an extensive nanoscale pore network. It allows air to pass through for exceptional breathability and ventilation, without collecting excessive moisture.
