The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.

A protective layer providing 10,000 mm waterproofing effectively protects against rain and wet snow during everyday use and moderate activity. At the same time, the fabric remains breathable, allowing excess moisture to escape from inside the garment. This solution supports thermal comfort in changing weather conditions without excessive stiffening of the fabric.
