HOLLOWTECH II is a technology that allows the integration of the lower support axle into the right crankset. This translates into increased stiffness and better balance, increasing the comfort of your ride.
Technology used in the outer disc of the crankset by SHIMANO. It involves hollowing out the largest sprocket and giving the disc a high degree of rigidity. The result is more precise gear changes.
HOLLOWTECH II
Hollowtech II is a technology developed by Shimano to improve crank mechanisms. This technology makes the mechanisms lighter, stronger and more efficient. A characteristic feature is the integration of one of the crank arms into the axle.
