The K2 Thrive ski helmet is the result of meticulous work by engineers striving to provide advanced head protection while maintaining an elegant style. The Hard Shell construction of the Thrive helmet ensures durability and reliability, protecting the head from impacts. The hard yet lightweight outer shell offers an optimal level of protection without additional weight, which is important for user comfort on the slopes.

Full Wrap technology is a solution that provides comprehensive fitting of the helmet to the head circumference, resulting in better adherence and, consequently, increased protection. Thanks to this, the helmet perfectly embraces the head, enhancing safety and wearing comfort, allowing users to focus on the enjoyment of skiing.

The integrated Passive Channel Venting system ensures continuous airflow through the helmet, effectively removing excess heat and moisture. This is key to maintaining dryness and thermal comfort during physical activity.

The helmet is also equipped with a removable clip that allows for the secure attachment of goggles to the helmet. The clip prevents the goggles from slipping off, which is important for both convenience and safety on the slopes.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception.
