The applied core, TubeLite Woodcore, glued from light wood, provides the skier with quick reactions and excellent energy transfer to the edges. The use of Carbon Rods, two carbon fiber rods placed along the ski’s axis throughout its length, added transverse stiffness to the construction. This also allowed for weight reduction, and the whole is extremely stable and resilient.  

The Mono Ti reinforcements include one layer of titanal placed above the core on top, which increases performance and flexibility. The SST Sidewall construction strengthens the ski’s transverse stiffness while allowing for quick, precise, and direct energy transmission from the ski edges to the snow.

The Elan Wingman 82 CTI Fusion alpine skis also feature Amphibio TruLine Technology. It involves asymmetrical placement of additional layers. The inner edge is covered along its entire length with an extra layer, allowing for dynamic turns while maintaining stability. The outer edge, with less structural material, provides smoothness and fluid carving of turns.
