When we talk about ski equipment, the key to complete comfort is minimalism without compromising safety. The UVEX Fierce ski helmet is a perfect example of this. Designed so that you can forget you are wearing it, while providing you with a full sense of security on the slopes.

The inmould technology in the helmet is a combination of advanced manufacturing solutions that guarantee exceptional durability while maintaining minimal weight. In the inmould process, the outer shell of the helmet is directly bonded to the inner foam, ensuring a uniform and solid structure. This makes the helmet extremely resistant to impacts and scratches, while also surprising with its lightness.

The comfortable Monomatic chin strap allows for one-handed adjustment, even when wearing gloves, as well as comfortable, multi-level regulation.

The Fast adapting system provides excellent strap fitting, ensuring that the helmet will not slip even in the event of a sudden impact.

Advantages

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

Monomatic fastening

The chin strap uses a Monomatic type closure. This is a very precise locking system that allows multi-stage adjustment. Operating this fastener with ski gloves is not a problem, and the system itself does not allow spontaneous release.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
