The key equipment for safe skiing is a proper helmet. Men's ski helmet 4F KSM001 is a model with a subdued matte finish that will meet the expectations of skiing enthusiasts.

The most important factor ensuring safety while wearing the helmet is its proper and tight fit. The circumference adjustment is made easy and convenient with a dial located at the back of the helmet. The helmet's fastening consists of an adjustable buckle with a strap and a chin guard.

The construction of the KSM001 In-Mold ski helmet is characterized by the fact that both layers—the outer PC shell and the inner EPS foam—are tightly bonded together. This construction provides optimal lightness while ensuring durability and resistance to damage and scratches. The helmet is equipped with integrated goggles of category two, which allow clear vision on partly cloudy days.

Advantages

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

Integrated viewfinder

The construction with an integrated visor guarantees a well-fitting visor to the shape of the helmet. In addition, the lens has a much larger surface area than that used in goggles, which increases the field of vision and, thanks to the large space between the visor and the face, corrective goggles can be worn without difficulty.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
