I still have the Aku trekker pro but this la sportiva is worth the price difference. The boots are very comfortable and adapt easily and quickly to the foot. You don't have to take them apart and get tired for a week. I had this problem with the Aku. Solid workmanship, really high quality, the price is not exorbitant.
