An essential for every cyclist
I tested it during my accident by hitting my forehead, temple and face at considerable speed on the gravel ground. Following the accident I had a concussion defined as a contusion, i.e. with small haematomas present, resulting in loss of consciousness and memory. The helmet remained on my head after the impact. The indentation of the outer plastic was at the points of impact and the hard mass of the shell did not disintegrate as I thought but became soft - more malleable like a hard sponge. One of the spans had cracked. Where the helmet was I had no signs of skin damage only internal injuries. The damage to my face, nose and neck shows the difference in the protection of shielded skin. I don't know what would have happened if I had a different helmet but I have a feeling that it has significantly reduced the extent of the injury and I am back to full fitness relatively quickly.

Ventilation very good and much better than my previous helmet from this company- the Utopia. According to the chart I'm in size M and that's the upper range but tightening the helmet to the maximum I'm missing a few millimetres of tightness - i.e. the fit is probably good enough but I'd prefer to be able to tighten it tighter and loosen it a little at most. In my opinion, the UTOPIA lay better.
After a few weeks of reflection I decided to buy the same helmet again.

Niezbędnik każdego kolarza
Przetestowałem go podczas mojego wypadku uderzeniem czołem, skronią i twarzą przy sporej prędkości w podłoże szutrowe. W następstwie wypadku miałem wstrząs mózgu określony jako stłuczenie czyli z obecnymi małymi krwiakami czego efektem była utrata przytomności i pamięci. Po uderzeniu kask utrzymał się na głowie. Wgniecenie tworzywa zewnetrznego było w miejscach uderzenia a twarda masa skorupy nie rozpadła się jak myślałem tylko zrobiła się miękka - bardziej plastyczna jak twarda gąbka. Jedno z przęseł pękło. W miejscu gdzie był kask nie miałem żadnych śladów uszkodzenia skóry tylko obrażenia wewnętrzne. Uszkodzenia twarzy, nosa i szyi pokazują różnicę w ochronie skóry osłoniętej. Nie wiem co by było gdybym miał inny kask ale mam przeczucie, że znacznie zmniejszył rozmiar urazu i stosunkowo szybko wracam do pełnej sprawności. Wentylacja bardzo dobra i dużo lepsza od mojego wcześniejszego kasku tej firmy- Utopii. Według tabeli jestem w rozmiarze M i to górnym przedziale ale dokręcając kask maksymalnie brakuje mi kilku milimetrów ciasności - tzn dopasowany prawdopodobnie jest wystarczająco ale wolałbym móc dokręcić go mocniej i najwyżej trochę poluzować. W moim odczuciu UTOPIA leżała lepiej. Po kilku tygodniach przemyśleń zdecydowałem o ponownym zakupie tego samego kasku.
