Men's running shoes Saucony Endorphin Trial blue S20647 (S20647)
Men's shoes Saucony Endorphin Trial designed for traversing routes with varied surfaces, such as gravel roads, forest trails, or slightly muddy paths. The outer PWRTRAC trail outsole is durable, provides grip, and does not cause sinking in mud.
The Endorphin Trial model uses SPEEDROLL technology, which makes trail running require less effort and allows for higher speeds. The midsole made of cushioning PWRRUN foam returns energy while being flexible and durable. The shoe's design, with a 4.5 mm tread, facilitates ascents and descents on steep sections, and the mesh upper provides good breathability.
Workouts
The shoes have good cushioning and running over stones does not cause discomfort. The rubber sewn between the tongue and the upper puts quite a lot of pressure on the ankle area. However, this slip-on design does not provide adequate ankle stabilisation. Therefore, their stability is rather poor and the ankle can be twisted very easily. The workmanship of the upper is very good. The laces are rather long, hold well and can be clipped into the elastic placed on the tongue. The shoes are good for someone who has a wide foot. The toebox is not too hard, so it does not bruise the toes inside. The insole is removable, not too thick. Compared to shoes with a Michellin sole these, although less so, also slip on wet pavement. The raised tread bites well into the grass on the downhills as well as the uphills. Their rolling is not very dynamic. They are suitable for longer, undemanding routes such as forest and sandy terrain.
