Advantages
Active ventilation
The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.
Hybrid design
The hybrid construction combines the advantages of in mould construction and hardshell construction. Part of the helmet has a hard shell and the rest is covered with lighter foam, making the helmet weigh less.
EN 1077 certification
This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.
Size adjustment using the BOA® system
This is an advanced helmet adjustment system using thin steel cables that allow the helmet to be adjusted even more precisely to the head. This system provides a quick vertical adjustment, even with one hand. It also prevents the material from rolling off during adjustment.
EPS 4D
A technology used in helmets that is responsible for absorbing shock energy and increasing the level of cushioning.
BOA® Fit System
Fitting system, consisting of a strong line, hooks and an adjustable knob. It guarantees a stable and comfortable fit of the product to the shape of the body. The user has the possibility of very precise adjustment.
Fidlock®
Magnetic locking systems, characterised by simplicity of use and durability. Modular technology provides the user with a multitude of fastening options.
Airflow System
A system used by the Salomon brand. It provides ventilation for ski goggles, thanks to inlet channels in the upper frame and outlet channels in the lower frame. As a result, fresh air constantly flows through the goggles and moisture is wicked away.
SIGMA
Technology used in ski goggles from Salomon. It provides excellent white vision contrast. This allows the skier to see changes in terrain on the snow in different lighting conditions.
Smart Safety 360
The Smart Safety 360 uses 4D EPS technology with additional EPP inserts throughout. This provides exceptional shock absorption and comprehensive head protection at the highest level.
Motion Shield Advanced
The Motion Shield Advanced system facilitates the smooth lowering and raising of the sun visor, inspired by the functionality and positioning of traditional goggles. Its mechanism ensures comfortable and intuitive use, which significantly improves riding comfort. With this solution, using the visor becomes much easier and more natural.
