The designers at CASCO ensured that the SP-6 Visor provides maximum protection without compromising comfort. The innovation of the SP-6 Visor is highlighted by the use of the VAUTRON® Automatic visor. This is a high-quality lens whose photochromic and polarizing properties adjust instantly to changing light conditions. Thanks to this, skiers can enjoy excellent visibility regardless of the weather, which is especially important on slopes with varying degrees of sunlight exposure.

User comfort is also enhanced by the adjustment system, both horizontally and vertically, allowing for a perfect fit to the shape of the head.

Impact protection

Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

Integrated viewfinder

The construction with an integrated visor guarantees a well-fitting visor to the shape of the helmet.
