Buy the same size as several other models of Salomon boots, but the sensation of being smaller. Adjusts to the foot after a few minutes and fits perfectly. Didn't need any machining - perfect out of the box. After the first 200km - not a single blister or any noticeable signs of external wear. Except for the sole... Rare Salomon tread wears out fast, low heel even lower.
