Women's shoes Salewa Wildfire Edge are technical shoes that, thanks to the simple Salewa Switchfit system, can quickly be transformed into climbing shoes. Just pull the laces at the back and pull upwards. This pulls the foot in the toe box, and the toes are squeezed together like in climbing footwear. After finishing the approach, simply loosen the laces, widening the toe box, which ensures comfort during further hiking.

Edge plate, subtly embedded in the front part of the shoe, gives it additional, targeted stiffness when engaging the toes on more difficult rock sections. However, leaving the rest of the insole relatively soft provides both comfort and natural foot movement while walking in the terrain.

The integration of the 3F system further enriches the Salewa Wildfire Edge footwear, allowing a combination of flexibility, fit, and necessary support in strategic areas of the shoe. This system works with Exa Shell technology to jointly wrap and stabilize the foot, while reducing the risk of blisters and other discomforts caused by prolonged wear in challenging terrain conditions.

The Edge Plate insole, located under the front part of the foot, adds additional stiffness in the toe area. The use of the Pomoca Speed MTN sole allowed for better grip in wet and dry weather conditions, and the aggressive studs help move on muddy and soft surfaces.
