The contrast is excellent. It's not mentioned anywhere in the description, but it seems to me that they are photochromic. I could see everything clearly, regardless of whether I was outdoors or indoors. Face ID is unlocked through the glasses, which was a nice bonus (previous Oakley prizm did not allow this). These are great glasses!
