Jacket good for cold days, for summer rain far too warm.
After the first rain, I can say that it gives protection against water, but I doubt that with long use (1h+/large rain) it would provide optimal comfort. The material is not typically water repellent, water slightly soaks into it, but does not penetrate to the other side. Certainly a very good solution for autumn and small rains.
