I don't know what they are like in the toe, I only tried them on. However, they fit comfortably on the foot, thanks to the lacing and Velcro, you can tighten them so that the back does not come off. However, keep in mind that they run small at least one size. I ordered 39 and 40 with a foot length of 25.5 cm. The 39s are quite small, they go on a 38. The 40 is a snug fit, which is comfortable in principle, but the big toe rests against it.
