Hybrid construction – increased stiffness and comfort
The Cortez 13'5" kayak was designed with a hybrid layout – the side chambers are made as low-pressure, while the bottom is an independent high-pressure chamber created using drop stitch technology. This solution significantly improves the stiffness of the entire structure, increases its resistance to deformation, and makes the kayak more stable, especially when paddled by two people. The drop stitch floor also provides better boat feel underfoot and reduces the risk of water seepage.
Three independent chambers – safety in all conditions
The construction is based on three separate air chambers – two side and one bottom – which increase user safety.
