This is my second pair. The previous pair lasted over 6 seasons until they lost part of their tread. But nothing has fallen off, nothing has broken off, the Velcro fasteners hold superbly. Standing in the water in them all day while fishing is no big deal. The winsted version has a thicker sole for comfort on off-road terrain. Size 43 fits a 27.5cm foot with a 1cm margin each at the front and back to protect against heel and toe spikes. Highly recommended to all.
