Advantages
UV protection 400
The UV 400 filter used in the glazing is guaranteed to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation. It blocks 99.9% of wavelengths up to 400 nanometres, both UVA, UVB and UVC. The use of goggles with UV protection is a cornerstone that can prevent serious health problems.
Glazing category S2
The lens with the S2 category is the most versatile. It will work well on a slightly cloudy day as well as when the sun is not too strong. It absorbs between 57 and 82% of light and has a slightly darkened surface.
Anti-Fog coating
Temperature fluctuations can cause unwanted fogging on the inside of the lens. To prevent this effect from occurring, the lens is treated with a special coating that prevents fogging. This increases safety and comfort when on the slopes.
OTG design
OTG, or Over The Glasses, is information for those who wear corrective glasses. Over The Glass
Technology in ski goggles developed for people who wear glasses. It is based on a small cut in the side foam that allows the goggles to be used while wearing glasses. It provides a comfortable fit without discomfort.
FogStop
It is an anti-fog coating used on the inside of the lenses of Alpina brand glasses and goggles. It guarantees clear vision, even in high humidity.
Doubleflex
The unbreakable polycarbonate lenses used by the Alpina brand provide 100% UVA, UVB and UVC protection and have been treated with an anti-fog coating.
Airframe Venting System
An intelligent ventilation system used in Alpina ski goggles. Thanks to the ventilation holes with foam covers on the sides and bottom of the goggles, constant air movement is possible inside the goggle body, which disperses moisture and prevents the lens from evaporating.
Double Lens Thermoblock
The use of an air chamber between the twin lenses prevents fogging of the inner lens.
Quattro Varioflex
Quattroflex Varioflex technology, used in Alpina helmets, is a synergy of two advanced solutions. Quattroflex is a lens technology with a polarising filter for high contrast. Varioflex, on the other hand, is a function that automatically darkens the glass in response to changes in light intensity.
Mirror
Mirror technology, as used in Alpina helmets, involves coating the lens with multiple reflective layers. This provides effective protection against intense glare and infrared radiation.
180°+ VIEW
The 180-degree-plus view ski goggles have a unique frame design that is specially engineered together with a large-size panoramic lens. This allows you to see beyond the standard 180-degree CE-compliant field of vision. Your overall view remains improved, allowing you to detect hazards in your field of lateral vision earlier.
QUATTROFLEX LITE
These are special polarised lenses that transmit only a specific direction of light, eliminating unwanted reflections and glare that usually interfere with vision. This increases contrast, colours become more saturated and vision becomes sharper and clearer.
VENTING LENS
A unique technology used in Alpina goggles. Thanks to it, we experience optimum ventilation of the lenses during use of the goggles, so that no vapour or fogging appears on them.
COMFORT FRAME
The construction of the goggle frame has been specially designed to fit perfectly to the shape of the face thanks to a flexible plastic strap placed on the forehead and cheeks. This achieves an ergonomic fit that guarantees the highest possible comfort and prevents pressure marks. What's more, the ski goggles have been carefully finished.
