Purchase on Thursday -- Saturday to Tuesday on my feet after a 12 km route.
Left perfectly, right a little less so but they're brand new pieces on the feet - must be breaking in. Sock light.
Generally recommended for colder spring and probably autumn days (shallow snow, water, mud) -- GORE-TEX does the job.
For summer they will be rather too warm.
