The high-altitude boots La Sportiva G5 Evo are ultra-technical, water-resistant boots, ideal for high-altitude climbing, ice climbing, and use in winter conditions. Thanks to the quick and easy closure at the bottom of the boot using the BOA® Fit System located outside the upper, the boots can be securely fastened while wearing gloves. The outer guard and thermal tapes with UltraSonic Welding technology, which allows materials to be joined without seams, increase water resistance and protection against weather conditions.

La Sportiva G5 Evo boots are also equipped with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ THERMIUM™ Insulation technology, which enhances thermal insulation in the front part of the boot, including the midsole. This makes them lighter and more handy, while still providing warmth in any situation. The high upper with a collar and Velcro prevents snow and ice from entering the boot.
