    In the world of trekking, where sure footing is key, the Helly Hansen Gamvik snow boots earn the title of a true champion of winter expeditions.

    Elegant appearance combined with functionality – that is the strength of Gamvik. The classic duck boot silhouette, meaning a boot with a rubber, waterproof upper, is complemented by HH® FreezeBlock technology with aluminum, which guarantees keeping feet warm and dry.

    The boots provide thermal comfort even at -30 degrees.

    The upper consists of over 60% recycled materials, including 100% leather and polyester, as well as a combination of polyurethane with polyester. The interior of the boot, also made from recycled materials, offers exceptional comfort, while the sole, made of 100% rubber, ensures excellent grip and resistance to low temperatures. 

    Technologies
    EVA
    Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, which is a foam-like material used in, among other things, sports shoes and many items of clothing and sports equipment. It provides an optimum balance between flexibility and durability.
    DWR
    The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.
    PrimaLoft®
    Specialised synthetic fibre technology. The fibres form a structure with hollow channels, providing down-like insulation. The result is insulation with excellent insulating properties, but also extremely lightweight and moisture-wicking.
    HH® Quick Dry
    A group of quick-drying materials used by the Helly Hansen brand. They wick away moisture effectively and promote a dry feeling even during intense activity.
    HH® Pro Guard
    A technology in Helly Hansen footwear that strengthens the heel and toe areas. It consists of covering the sensitive parts of the shoe with a durable, abrasion-resistant material. Guarantees protection against harsh outdoor conditions and injuries.

It makes the material resistant to absorbing moisture from the environment, while preventing water from entering.

    HH® FreezeBlock technology effectively protects against the penetration of cold from underneath the shoe. The insole with a subtle layer of metallic thermal membrane acts as a protective barrier for the entire foot.

      How to measure the length of your foot - instructions in 4 steps

      1. Prepare a sheet of paper and set it on a hard, non-slippery surface - it is best to tape it to the floor.

      2 Stand barefoot on a piece of paper - distribute your body weight evenly and set your foot straight.

      3. Mark the tip of the big toe and the back of the heel - preferably holding the pencil vertically.

      4. Take off the foot and measure the distance between the marks - this is the length of the foot. Repeat for the other foot and choose a larger measurement, matching it to the size chart.
