Construction and Material

The tent is made from Outtex® 4000 Select fabric, which is 100% polyester, characterized by high durability, UV resistance, and waterproofing at the level of 4000 mm hydrostatic head. This material is also fire-retardant, meeting the latest safety standards for tent fabrics. The integrated seam tape system provides additional protection against water penetration, which is crucial during unfavorable weather conditions.

Stability and Safety

The Outwell Ashwood 5 is equipped with the OWS System Force 8 wind stabilization system, which uses strong Velcro straps to securely attach the flysheet to the tent frame. Duratec Poles, used in the Flex System, offer flexibility and ease of handling while reducing the tent's weight. The integrated groundsheet provides protection against wind, insects, and moisture, and the specially designed rear ventilation system allows for adjustable airflow control.

The tent features spacious Premier Bedrooms, offering a large floor area that facilitates movement, as well as storage pockets. A power cable entry point allows easy access to electricity inside. The HookTrack system allows for mounting lightweight accessories and cable management, making the tent even more functional.
