The women's ski helmet HEAD Rita is an excellent combination of modernity and functionality, designed especially with women in mind. This is not just an ordinary helmet – it is advanced technology serving the safety and comfort of the skier.

Rita is equipped with advanced In-Mold technology. Thanks to this solution, the helmet not only gains lightness, which significantly enhances comfort of use, but also maintains the necessary durability and impact resistance. Complementing this technology is the 360° Microshell — an innovative coating that surrounds the helmet in all directions. Its purpose is not only to strengthen the outer layer of the helmet but also to distribute the impact force across the entire surface of the helmet.

Another practical element is the Fidlock Buckle, designed to be easily opened with one hand. This is especially important during winter days when hands are often gloved. The detachable ear pads allow for customization of the helmet depending on weather conditions and the skier's individual preferences.

The Rita helmet, meeting the EN 1077: 2007 Class B safety standard, guarantees the highest level of protection, while offering exceptional design and functionality that will surely appeal to every skier.

Advantages

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Fidlock fastener

The chin strap uses a Fidlock type fastener. This is a simple fastener that operates using magnets. Its operation is quick and easy, even with thick ski gloves. It is both strong and durable.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Size adjustment using the BOA® system

This is an advanced helmet adjustment system using thin steel cables that allow the helmet to be adjusted even more precisely to the head. This system provides a quick vertical adjustment, even with one hand. It also prevents the material from rolling off during adjustment.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

Fitting system, consisting of a strong line, hooks and an adjustable knob. It guarantees a stable and comfortable fit of the product to the shape of the body. The user has the possibility of very precise adjustment.

360° MICROSHELL

Used in the lower edge of the helmet, a special polycarbonate layer effectively prevents mechanical damage such as scratches and dents.

In-Mould

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
