The modern In-Mold technology used in the Vanda helmet is the essence of combining lightness with durability. The user can count on maximum safety without worrying about additional head burden. Thanks to this technology, the helmet not only effectively protects but also provides comfort during longer rides.

Active Bottom Edge & Venturi Effect work together to ensure effective air circulation. Active Bottom Edge directs air inside the helmet, while the Venturi Effect promotes its efficient removal. The result? A constant and optimal temperature inside the helmet.

Safety certificate EN 1077: 2007 Class B guarantees that the helmet has been tested and meets European safety standards. The user can be confident that they have chosen a top-class product.

Advantages

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

ACTIVE BOTTOM EDGE

A system in HEAD helmets that allows a continuous flow of air through the helmet and goggle frame. As a result, the Active Bottom Edge reduces the evaporation of the glass.

HEAD 3D FIT

With HEAD 3D FIT technology, the sizing system can be adjusted horizontally and vertically for an individual fit of the helmet to the head.

In-Mould

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
