For those who have a larger head circumference and are looking not only for safety but also comfort, we present the UVEX Magnum ski helmet.

The helmet is a response to the needs of those who have difficulty fitting traditional helmets. Its size perfectly fits a head circumference in the range of 61-65 cm, ensuring comfortable wear without pressure.

Thanks to the process of shaping the outer layer on a press, which is then applied to the EPS foam, the helmet gains incredible impact resistance. The interior of the helmet effectively absorbs shocks, and special insulation protects against low temperatures.

Adjusting the chin strap has never been easier. Thanks to the Monomatic buckle, you can adjust the strap tension with one hand, even while wearing gloves, which further facilitates putting on and taking off the helmet.

Advantages

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

Monomatic fastening

The chin strap uses a Monomatic type closure. This is a very precise locking system that allows multi-stage adjustment. Operating this fastener with ski gloves is not a problem, and the system itself does not allow spontaneous release.
