The medium-stiff CAPiTA Defenders Of Awesome snowboard is a versatile model that performs well both on the slopes and during tricks in the snowpark. Its advanced construction meets the expectations of the most demanding snowboarders. This model has been awarded six times in the Good Wood test.

Reinforcements made of lightweight carbon strips along the edges of the board increase its power and responsiveness. The board also stands out thanks to the use of MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN and inserts above and below the core made of SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS, which enhance the strength and durability of the board. The eco-friendly resin provides the board with good properties without negatively affecting its weight. All of this together makes this model able to withstand the most demanding and wild adventures on the slopes.

The Defenders Of Awesome board uses a new core in its construction, the P2 SUPERLIGHT CORE™, which combines two types of wood: poplar and paulownia. This combination allowed for a very strong and energetic core with reduced weight. To increase the durability of this model, FORTRESS™ ARAMID BOUND SIDEWALLS were used, protecting the board from damage. Aramid fiber also offers good vibration damping.

It also features full sidewalls made of ABS and high-quality 4 x 2 stainless steel inserts, and the board is finished with a Multitech™ Level 5 DeepSpace™ laminate with a PAM16000™ top layer.
