The Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical model is designed with durability in mind. It will handle all tasks thanks to the chemically strengthened and scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® glass and a polymer fiber reinforced housing. The battery, lasting up to 54 days in smartwatch mode and additionally solar charged, will not let you down when you need it. 

The watch is equipped with advanced tactical functions. You can easily switch from day to night mode, and thanks to night vision compatibility, reading data is not a problem. If you don’t want your GPS location to be recorded and shared, you can disable wireless connectivity and communication without turning off the watch. 

Navigation in the field is enhanced by support for multiple global satellite navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo) when the GPS signal is insufficient. The TracBack system will help you return to the starting point by plotting a route similar to the original one.

This model is equipped with Garmin’s standard training functions. The wrist sensor records your data, alerting you to too high or too low heart rate. You can also check your stress level with it. You can choose from many built-in sport profiles to improve your fitness and track your progress. Data such as calories burned, pace, or distance covered will help set new goals.

The watch will ensure you maintain a balance between exercise and rest. BODY BATTERY™ will indicate the best time for you to exercise and when you should rest. The advanced sleep monitor will check REM phases and overall sleep quality.
