Technologies

AR50 SIDEWALL

The hybrid sidewall construction combines a reinforced zone beneath the bindings with a lighter construction at the tips and tails of the skis. The sidewalls, which cover approximately 50 per cent of the length, protect the core from damage and enhance the durability of the skis. Reducing the weight at the tips and tails of the skis lowers inertia during turns, making it easier to manoeuvre and perform freestyle tricks.

2.5 IMPACT EDGE

The reinforced steel edges, which have undergone a special heat treatment, offer enhanced resistance to impact and mechanical damage. The reinforced construction reduces the risk of cracks and edge chipping when coming into contact with hard obstacles. This design enhances the skis’ durability during intense riding, jumps and performing tricks on rails and boxes.

COMP SERIES BASE

A sintered polyethylene base with a very high molecular weight, enhanced with carbon, has been developed with high speeds in mind. W3DGEWALL

The optimal distribution of material and the tapering of the sidewalls at the tips of the skis reduce weight whilst maintaining stability and effective edge grip.

LAMINATE MATRIX

A system of carefully arranged layers of glass fibre allows for the precise tuning of the skis’ longitudinal and torsional stiffness.
